Winter is here, which means bad weather can come at any moment causing schools to close and after school activities to be cancelled. Below are the conditions under which we close due to the weather or stay open.
If the Liverpool, North Syracuse, Lyncourt and Syracuse City school districts are closed due to the weather, we will be CLOSED.
If the Liverpool, North Syracuse, Lyncourt and Syracuse City school districts cancel after school/evening activities due to the weather, we will beCLOSED.
If the Liverpool, North Syracuse, Lyncourt and Syracuse City school districts have 1-hour or 2-hour delays, we will be OPEN.
If the weather is cold, but no schools are closed or cancel after school/evening activities, we will be OPEN.
If any of the above school districts close for any reason other than the weather (water main break, heater broken, repairs, etc.) we will be OPEN.
We will also call in to News Channel 9 and you will see “Salt City Karate- closed” on the school closings listing on the bottom of the screen.
Above all else, your safety is most important. If you feel as though the weather and/or road conditions are not safe enough to drive in, please stay home.
